Saturday is predicted to be the warmest day of the year in the UK as Storm Kathleen continues to batter the western portion of the nation with gusts as high as 70 mph and a lot of rain.
The Met Office
reports that because of the very warm air that is blown across some areas of
the UK during sunny spells, temperatures in East Anglia can reach 22 degrees
Celsius.
The west of the United
Kingdom's meteorological office has issued a yellow weather warning for
wind on Saturday, spanning from eight in the morning until ten at night. This
region includes not just the North and South West of England but also portions
of Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Far from that threatening
area on Saturday, we could get up to 22C in secluded spots of East Anglia, that
would make it the hottest day of the year in that area so far, Met Office
meteorologist and Stephen Dixon, the spokeswoman stated the PA news agency.
The air warming
being carried up is one of the concerns of Hurricane Kathleen that are being
felt still now.
These storm
systems frequently carry warmer air with them as they move out.
The highest recorded temperature of the year was 19.9 degrees Celsius at the end of January in Achfary, in the north-west of Scotland.

Mr. Dixon
continued, the forecast for Sunday happens to be for showery situations to
continue across an important portion of the United Kingdom, mainly in the western
and northern regions once more.
Storm Kathleen
is expected to bring with it windy and wet conditions on Friday that should
last into Saturday.
On Saturday, 50 to 60 miles per hour gusts of the southerly winds are predicted. However, vulnerable areas, particularly in Northern Ireland, should prepare for gusts of up to 70 mph and possibly large waves.
