In Rajinikanth's portrayal of 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian, he dons simple shirts and trousers, giving the impression of an unassuming, harmless man. However, when he puts on his police officer uniform, a fearsome and violent side emerges, causing sleepless nights for his adversaries.


During the audio launch of Jailer, Rajinikanth displayed unwavering confidence in the movie and offered his full support to director Nelson, who faced criticism for his previous film Beast. Despite speculations of Nelson's potential removal from Jailer due to the performance of the Vijay-starrer, Rajini stood by him, emphasizing that Beast was a commercial success and did not cause any loss to the producers.
