In a tragic incident from Uttar Pradesh’s Basti district, a minor boy died by suicide following severe harassment at a birthday party. The boy’s family alleged that he was stripped naked, beaten, and urinated on during the event, which drove him to take his own life.

According to the victim’s family, they approached the police to lodge a complaint about the abuse, but their pleas were reportedly ignored. The boy’s uncle recounted that the harassment continued even after the initial incident, exacerbating the trauma.

Circle Officer (CO) Pradeep Kumar Tripathi confirmed that a case had been registered at Kaptanganj Police Station under relevant sections. "A boy died by suicide, and we are investigating the matter. Initial findings point to personal differences, but further inquiries are ongoing," Tripathi told ANI.

The boy’s uncle revealed disturbing details, alleging that the ordeal began at the party, with the victim returning home late that night to recount his experience the following day. Despite attempts to seek justice, the family claimed police delayed registering their complaint for three days, during which the accused allegedly harassed the boy again.
