West Indies scripted a historic moment in cricket, claiming a remarkable victory against England in the ODI series. Matthew Forde, the debutant, emerged as a standout player, showcasing an exceptional all-round performance. His impressive figures of 3/29 with the ball and a crucial 13* off 16 balls with the bat played a pivotal role in West Indies' triumph.

The match at the Kensington Oval in Barbados witnessed Forde's brilliance, supported by Romario Shepherd's exceptional batting skills. The duo's performance secured a memorable win for West Indies, marking their first series victory against England at home since 1998.

Forde, replacing Oshane Thomas in the lineup, proved his worth by dismantling England's top order. His skillful bowling dismissed key players like Phil Salt, Zack Crawley, and Will Jacks, leaving England struggling at 3/45.

Alzarri Joseph contributed to England's downfall, running out Harry Brook and sending skipper Jos Buttler back for a golden duck. England faced a precarious situation with five wickets down within the initial ten overs.

However, a resilient 88-run partnership between Ben Duckett and Liam Livingstone revived England's innings. Despite their efforts, Shepherd's spell broke the partnership, restricting England to a total of 206 after rain interrupted the game, reducing it to 40 overs per side.

The rain interruptions affected the chase, revising West Indies' target to 188 in 34 overs. Despite losing Brandon King early, Alick Athanaze and Keacy Carty steadied the innings with a crucial 76-run partnership. Although they faced setbacks with the dismissals of Hope, Hetmyer, and Rutherford, Shepherd's explosive hitting in the final overs secured the historic victory for West Indies, sealing the ODI leg of the series.
