On Friday, the International Cricket Council (ICC) shared exciting news about who will be talking about the ODI World Cup starting on October 5. The commentary team will include famous cricket stars like Shane Watson, Lisa Sthalekar, Ramiz Raja, Ravi Shastri, Aaron Finch, Sunil Gavaskar, and Matthew Hayden, all of whom have won the World Cup.
The people talking about the games, like Nasser Hussain, Ian Smith, and Ian Bishop, who were there during the exciting 2019 World Cup final between England and New Zealand, are coming back. Other famous cricket players like Waqar Younis, Shaun Pollock, Anjum Chopra, and Michael Atherton will also be sharing their thoughts live from the commentary box.
Former cricket stars, including Simon Doull, Mpumelelo Mbangwa, Sanjay Manjrekar, Katey Martin, Dinesh Karthik, Dirk Nannes, Samuel Badree, Athar Ali Khan, and Russel Arnold, will team up with top broadcasters worldwide, such as Harsha Bhogle, Kass Naidoo, Mark Nicholas, Natalie Germanos, Mark Howard, and Ian Ward, to complete the expert panel.
The tournament begins with a game between New Zealand and England at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. India starts their matches against Australia on October 8 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The final showdown will wrap up the tournament in Ahmedabad on November 19.
