After casting his vote, Rishab shared a few photos on his Instagram account, expressing his pride in fulfilling his civic duty. Interestingly, the actor had earlier revealed that PM Modi had praised his film "Kantara" during a meeting with him, adding to his achievements and reputation as a filmmaker.

Rishab, clad in a crisp white shirt and a matching traditional Indian mundu, proudly exhibited his Voter ID Card in a series of photographs. Evidently elated by exercising his democratic right, he also showcased the inked forefinger, a symbol of his successful participation in the voting process.


 

Among the shared images, one captured Rishab's amiable interaction with a group of enthusiastic supporters at the polling booth. Accompanying the pictures, he penned a caption emphasizing the significance of voting in shaping a brighter future for Karnataka. In an effort to inspire others, Rishab urged his followers to exercise their voting rights, employing hashtags such as 'Karnataka assembly election 2023', 'vote now,' and 'our right our vote' in his caption.

In February, he had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bengaluru, where they discussed the Kannada film industry and received appreciation for the movie "Kantara." Rishab expressed his admiration for PM Modi's leadership and was delighted to have met him.

Rishab clarified that what audiences witnessed in Kantara was actually the second part of the story, and Kantara 2 will serve as the origin tale, thus making it the first part. He further revealed that he has already begun the process of developing the screenplay for Kantara 2.
