Apple To Release iOS 17 Today

In a grand reveal at the Wanderlust event, Apple introduced its latest lineup, the iPhone 15 series, comprising four models: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Alongside this, the tech behemoth from Cupertino disclosed the launch date of the much-anticipated iOS 17, which has undergone beta testing for several months.

On September 18, iOS 17 will make its debut for supported iPhones, commencing at 10:30 PM in India. The software will be compatible with iPhone XS series and newer models, regrettably leaving older models without access to the latest iOS features.

Before rushing to download the new operating system, iPhone users are advised to perform a comprehensive backup of their devices. While the risk of data loss is minimal, it's a precaution not to be overlooked. Typically, iPhones automatically initiate backups when connected to power and Wi-Fi. However, for those who have this feature disabled, a manual backup can be initiated. By navigating to Settings > Your Name > iCloud > iCloud Backup, users can select 'Back Up Now' to safeguard their device data.

iOS 17 heralds a slew of exciting features, including Live Voicemail, Standby Mode, Contact Posters, interactive widgets, the ability to utilize Siri during phone calls, and an array of other enhancements.:
