Arvind Kejriwal's arrested: Anna Hazare’s reaction

When asked what he thought of Arvind Kejriwal, the social activist from Maharashtra, who had seized the stage in the battle against corruption, expressed his displeasure.

According to Anna Hazare, he is currently developing a policy to deal with spirits in the same way that they did in the past.

I'm a little annoyed that Arvind Kejriwal, a former colleague, is now creating regulations for alcoholic beverages. He has made no secret of the fact that he dislikes drinking. Hazare asserted that his imprisonment was the result of his own actions.

Hazare and Kejriwal participated in several death-defying fasts during the campaign to pressure the Congress administration in Delhi to establish the Lokpal position, an anti-corruption watchdog.

Tens of thousands of individuals had united in support of the two leaders. Still, once the protests faded, Kejriwal and a few other members of the India against Corruption non-profit banded together to form the Aam Aadmi Party. However, Hazare expressed his disapproval of Kejriwal's choice to create the AAP, despite having previously claimed that the demonstration was non-political.

Arvind Kejriwal's arrest

Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on Thursday night in connection with a money laundering case involving excise policies. For the first time in the nation's history, an Indian government official has been taken into custody.

According to Aam Aadmi Party reports, Arvind Kejriwal will continue to lead the government while incarcerated. But the Bharatiya Janata Party, claiming that it is morally right, has requested his resignation.

On Thursday night, ten Enforcement Division police carried out a two-hour warrant-based search of Kejriwal's residence. Kejriwal was facing legal action from the agency after he disregarded nine of their summonses. In the past, the Aam Aadmi Party has claimed that ArvindK ejriwal's family was placed under "house arrest" by the Central government. The party has planned a sizable protest in the country's capital in response to Kejriwal's arrest.
