The Maharashtra government has initiated an investigation into Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray's alleged involvement in Disha Salian's suicide case. Amidst ongoing scrutiny over the tragic suicide of Disha Salian, a significant turn of events has unfolded in Maharashtra. Eknath Shinde-led government has taken a decisive step by forming a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray's potential connection to Salian's untimely demise. This development, stemming from Salian's role as the former manager of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, has sparked renewed interest in her case, occurring just days before Rajput's alleged suicide.

The decision to initiate this probe gained traction following requests from several legislators aligned with the Shinde camp, calling for a thorough investigation into Thackeray's involvement in the events leading to Salian's tragic death. Amidst these developments, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) previously leveled accusations against the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government, alleging suppression of crucial information related to Disha Salian's passing.

Adding to the complexity, Salian's parents, Satish and Vasanti Salian, sought intervention from then President Ram Nath Kovind, urging action against Union Minister Narayan Rane, his MLA son Nitesh, and others for spreading misleading information about their daughter's demise. The family has passionately demanded justice, emphasizing their intention to seek recourse if justice remains elusive. Their plea also emphasizes the removal of defamatory content from various media platforms, aiming to protect their daughter's memory from wrongful portrayal.

This recent governmental decision to launch an SIT investigation into Aaditya Thackeray's potential involvement marks a critical juncture in the pursuit of truth and justice surrounding Disha Salian's passing. The intensifying demand for accountability, coupled with efforts to uncover any potential misconduct, underscores the gravity of the situation and the stakeholders' unwavering determination to seek closure and transparency in this emotionally charged case.
