Prime Minister Narendra Modi commended the awe-inspiring spectacle of over 22 lakh 'diyas' illuminating Ayodhya during the Deepotsav festival. The record-breaking event, with 6.47 lakh more lamps than the previous year, garnered international recognition from the Guinness Book of World Records.

In a social media post on platform X, PM Modi expressed, "Amazing, divine, and unforgettable! The entire country is being illuminated with the millions of lamps lit during the grand deepotsav festival." He invoked blessings for the country's well-being and urged everyone to be inspired by Lord Shri Ram, concluding with a resounding "Jai Siya Ram!"

The seventh edition of Deepotsav witnessed the lighting of 22.23 lakh 'diyas' by 25,000 volunteers across 51 ghats of Ram Ki Paidi along the Saryu river. Drones, employed by representatives from the Guinness Book of World Records, verified the count, officially recognizing Ayodhya for achieving a world record.
