Ayodhya
is abuzz with anticipation as the much-awaited moment for millions of devotees
arrives on Pran
Pratishtha Day 3. The sanctum sanctorum of the newly constructed Ram Temple
is set to welcome the 51-inch idol of Lord Ram Lalla, sculpted by Arun Yogiraj
from Mysuru, marking a historic event after 550 years.
The
consecration ceremony, commencing at 12:20 pm and concluding at 1:28 pm,
unfolds with a series of rituals. The day's worship initiates with the
'Sankalp' at 1:20 pm, followed by Ganeshambika Pujan, mantras chanting, and the
placement of the idol onto a throne through the "Mandap Pravesh"
rituals. Ceremonial proceedings include "Jaladhivas" and
"Gandhadivas" to purify the idol with water and sprinkle various
essences.
Preceding
these rituals, Panchgavya purifies the throne with five elements—milk, ghee,
cow dung, gau mutra, and curd. Subsequently, "Vastu Pujan" ensures
the peace of the place, and Yagya commences within the temple premises. The
consecration journey began on January 16, and it will culminate on January 22
with the pran-prathistha ceremony.
On the second day of Pran Pratistha, the symbolic statue of Ram Lalla embarked on a tour of the Ram temple complex. Adorned with flowers, the idol graced a palanquin, parading grandly throughout the campus. This consecration has not only captivated Ayodhya but the entire nation, showcasing profound devotion to Lord Ram.

the idol-making site, accompanied by recitals of Valmiki's Ramayana and
Bhusundiramayana at the pavilion.
Preparations
for the grand event, attended by dignitaries and people from all sections of
society, are in full swing. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to attend
