With an expected agenda to further strengthen the strategic relations between India and France, Indian Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is all set for his visit to France on 13-14 July, 2023.
PM Modi is invited for the Bastille Day Parade as the Guest of Honour, which is to be held on 14th July, 2023. It is going to be a notable milestone in France-India relationship as France is not known to invite foreign delegates to the event every year.
This year also marks the completion of 25 years of strategic relations between the two nations.
The event involves a special military parade in Champs Elysees in Paris. Bastille day commemorates the success of the French Revolution and complete end of monarchy in the country.
India and France are expected to gain maximum positive outcomes from the visit. The visit is looking forward to military and trade cooperation.
Ahead of the PM's visit many French dignitaries have shown the welcoming gesture towards the PM. The CEO of Saint-Gobain, Benoit BAZIN says he is excited to welcome PM Modi.
Alstom CEO, Henri Poupart-Lafarge, mentions he is fully dedicated to PM Modi's self-reliant India. The CEOs of ADP group and Naval group also said they are proud to be a part of Indian airport infrastructure expansion and both the countries share the same vision of strategic autonomy, respectively.
The Indian community in France also seems to be eagerly awaiting the visit of their home country's head of cabinet.
An Indian armed contingent is going to be a part of the parade, a marching contingent led by a woman helicopter pilot. The Indian Air forces were seen practicing for the parade.
