Bis Standard Will Be Implemented To Stop Substandard Imported Goods

To prevent substandard imported products from entering the domestic market, the government is planning to introduce quality control orders for 275 to 300 items in the next few months. Government sources said domestic manufacturers suffer as poor quality goods remain cheap. Around 300 products such as low-quality cigarette lighters, pens, electrical appliances will come under this standard.
