Dhananjay
Barik, identified as the son of a ground staff member, was found by a caretaker
at the stadium hanging from the upper tier of gallery K. The police disclosed
that Dhananjay's distress might have stemmed from his inability to secure a job

playing equipment. The incident occurred while the stadium was preparing to
host marquee matches for the World Cup, including the highly anticipated second
semi-final between Australia and South Africa, where Australia emerged
victorious.
