BRS Announces Candidates for Telangana Assembly Polls

Telangana's Chief Minister and the head of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), K Chandrasekhar Rao, has publicly disclosed the party's selection of candidates for the forthcoming State Assembly elections. 


This momentous announcement, made on Monday, provides insight into the prominent figures vying for legislative positions in Telangana.

CM of Telangana and BRS Leader K Chandrasekhara Rao announced party's candidates for upcoming election in Telangana.

Significantly, the Finance Minister, Thanneeru Harish Rao, is set to run for office in the Siddipet constituency, while the Education Minister, Patlolla Sabitha Indra Reddy, has been chosen as the candidate for the Maheshwaram constituency. 


Chief Minister Rao himself will be contesting elections in both the Kamareddy and Gajwel constituencies. In addition, the State's IT Minister, Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao, is poised to enter the electoral arena in the Sircilla constituency.


Furthermore, Chief Minister Rao emphasised party discipline, stating firmly that "Any individual found engaging in activities detrimental to the party will be swiftly removed."

It's worth noting that as of now, candidates for several constituencies, including Narsapur, Jangaon, Goshamahal, and Nampally, have not been officially announced.
