BTS V's Solo Album: 'Layover'



BTS vocalist Kim Tae-hyung's solo album 'Layover' is scheduled to be realeased at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 8, 2023 (KST) as announced by BigHit Music on Tuesday via Weverse. The album consists of 6 tracks as follows- Rainy Days, Blue, Love Me Again, Slow Dancing, For Us, Slow Dancing (Piano Ver.). The music videos for all five tracks will also be revealed.

 

On Wednesday, Layover promotion schedule was revealed with pre-release of certain MVs. Firstly, the Pre-order of the album starts from 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 8, 2023 (KST). The 'Love Me Again' music video will debut on the internet, followed by the release of concept visuals. Subsequently, the 'Rainy Days' music video is set to premiere on August 11 at 1:00 PM (KST), accompanied by another set of concept photos on August 16. This will be followed by album release with 'Slow Dancing' MV.

Feeling the anticipation, on the 10th, V unveiled the music video for "Love Me Again," a track from his solo album "Layover," which was published on the Hybe Labels YouTube channel. Positioned as the third track within the fresh album, this piece embodies an R&B style, showcasing V's entrancing vocal quality. Filmed in a Mallorca cave, the video's mysterious feel blended with V's deep voice, creating a unique mood. The focus remained on V, who transformed into a blond boy, conveying emotions through his eyes. The "Love Me Again" video had a live session vibe with minimal lighting, setting, and scene changes.

Within less than 12 hours since its release, the music video has already surpassed 10 million views and received over 2 million likes. V's solo album features a collaboration with producer Min Hee Jin from NewJeans, and fans are anticipating the upcoming release of his remaining tracks.
