Car Map Of India
Recently, Mahindra Group's chairman, Anand Mahindra has published a map which has State wise data that shows vehicle density. As our country is growing, the number of cars has increased a lot as people tend to use four wheelers more. Let's see what we can interpret from the data. The density of the various states on the map has been distinguished using color coding, which includes green, red, pink, and yellow. India, on average, has a meager 7.5% car ownership rate. More prosperous states like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and others lag considerably behind hilly states regarding the percentage of households that possess cars. In India, Goa has the highest proportion of households with a car at 45.2%. In addition, the state has the most significant percentage of motorcycle-owning households (86.7%) of any form. Nevertheless, just 58.2% of families, or a relatively small number, own motorcycles. It is startling that, at 23.7%, Jammu & Kashmir has the third-highest proportion of households with a car. Two-wheelers ownership is only a modest portion of the family (30.3%). Car Map Of India Car Map Of India With 22.1% of households in India owning a four-wheeler, Himachal Pradesh comes second. On the other hand, only 2.3% of families own two-wheelers, which is a minimum ratio. The proportion of families in Punjab that own a car is relatively high (21.9%) and is reasonably close to that of its neighboring state, Himachal Pradesh. In contrast to Himachal Pradesh, the proportion of families that own a two-wheeler is the second highest in the nation at 75.6%. Car Map Of India In India, at least one bicycle is possessed by 50.4% of households. From 52.1 percent in the 2018 survey, this number has decreased. Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, and Odisha are the three states with the most significant percentages of households that possess bicycles, each with 75.6 percent (72.5 percent).
