Day 3 Box Office Figures Revealed for Shah Rukh Khan-Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki'

In a colossal success at the box office, Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's joint venture, "Dunki," has been creating waves. This cinematic masterpiece continues to shatter records as it voyages through its third day. The film's box office journey witnessed a remarkable climb, accumulating an impressive amount on its third day. According to Sacnilk's report, "Dunki" has amassed a staggering Rs 26 crore on its third day, contributing to a cumulative collection of Rs 75.32 crore. The film kickstarted its cinematic journey with a robust collection of Rs 29.2 crore on its opening day, followed by an equally commendable Rs 20.12 crore on the second day.

"Dunki," featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu in lead roles, has struck a chord not just in India but has also garnered significant appreciation from audiences in Australia and New Zealand. Earning the title of the third blockbuster opener in these countries, the film has resonated strongly with audiences abroad. This highly anticipated movie hit the silver screens on December 21, captivating audiences worldwide.

The theatrical occupancy for "Dunki" on its third day showcased promising statistics in various show timings. Morning shows recorded a 21.04% occupancy, followed by 37.68% in the afternoon, 48.40% in the evening, and a striking 55.52% in the night shows. Overall, "Dunki" maintained a commendable 40.71% occupancy in Hindi on Saturday.

Directed by the acclaimed Rajkumar Hirani, "Dunki" boasts a stellar ensemble cast featuring Boman Irani, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover. Presented by GO Studios, Red Chillies Entertainment, and Rajkumar Hirani Films, the movie is a joint production of Rajkumar Hirani and Gauri Khan, with a gripping storyline scripted by Abhijat Joshi, Rajkumar Hirani, and Kanika Dhillon.
