film industry, veteran actor Saravanan has officially signed on to star in
Dhanush's highly anticipated 50th film, "Raayan." The announcement
came on Tuesday as Dhanush unveiled Saravanan's first look on his social media
platforms.
Dhanush,
who is not only starring in but also directing "Raayan," shared
Saravanan's monochromatic picture where he can be seen sitting pensively amidst
raindrops. Alongside the image, Dhanush expressed his excitement, labeling
Saravanan's involvement as a significant addition to the project.
Apart from Saravanan and Dhanush, the star-studded cast of "Raayan" includes Sundeep Kishan, Kalidas Jayaram, Selvaraghavan, S J Suryah, Prakash Raj, and others. Dhanush, who has penned the script himself, is speculated to portray the role of a former gangster turned cook in the movie, which is set against the gritty backdrop of North Madras.
