KRITI SANON

Kriti Sanon's journey in the film industry spans almost a decade, marked by a mix of triumphs and challenges. Her latest pinnacle came with the prestigious Best Actress award at the 69th National Film Awards for her stellar role in "Mimi." However, before her foray into the cinematic world with the 2014 Telugu film "1: Nenokkadine," she briefly explored the realm of modeling.

During a recent interview, Kriti Sanon delved into the memories of her initial photoshoot, candidly admitting that it was far from a smooth experience, even bringing her to tears. Sanon acknowledged her intrinsic shyness, sharing in a conversation with Curly Tales, "Since my early years, I've consistently been a reserved person who would frequently seek refuge behind my mom's dupatta. In my childhood, I'd often insist on having my mom accompany me to birthday parties. I was the introverted one, grappling with stage fright."

When reminiscing about her early photoshoot, Kriti Sanon vividly remembered battling intense self-consciousness. She revealed, "I wasn't an established model back then; I had just taken my first steps into the world of modeling. It was a shoot with a renowned photographer who was incredibly kind. However, I knew I wasn't performing up to par, and my discomfort was apparent. He gently inquired if this was my maiden shoot, and I admitted to it. He then asked if I had a portfolio, to which I replied negatively. Although he reassured me not to fret, deep down, I couldn't shake off my sense of inadequacy."

"After the shoot, I hopped into an auto and couldn't hold back my tears. Upon reaching home, I confessed that I didn't think I had performed well, murmuring, 'Acha nahi hua...'"

Kriti Sanon also revealed that her sister had conveyed to her the industry's requirement for a high level of confidence and even contemplated whether it was the right fit for her.

In the same interview, Sanon also revisited an uncomfortable memory from her first fashion show, where she endured a scolding from her choreographer in the presence of 50 other models.

Kriti Sanon, a renowned national award-winning actor, revisited memories of her debut photoshoot, candidly sharing that it didn't quite go as planned and even brought her to tears.

Recalling the incident, the actor disclosed, "During my initial ramp show, the choreographer, whom I've never worked with since, was extremely harsh with me due to my choreography mishap. We were at some farmhouse, and my heels kept getting stuck in the grass. It was my first experience, and it was quite a disaster. I couldn't hold back my tears as she scolded me in front of a crowd of 50 models, and her tone was far from gentle. I tend to cry when someone raises their voice at me, and I couldn't help it."
