Amidst the ongoing agricultural unrest, farmers from Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana are gearing up for a massive protest march towards the national capital, Delhi. The protest, scheduled for Tuesday (February 12), aims to draw attention to the farmers' demands, particularly the assurance of Minimum Support Price (MSP) for their produce. Commuters in Delhi-NCR are advised to brace themselves for potential traffic disruptions as the protest unfolds.

The protest, organized by over 200 farmer unions under the banner of 'Delhi Chalo' by the Samyukta Kisan Morcha, is expected to witness a significant turnout. With tractor trolleys in tow, farmers plan to converge on Delhi from various entry points, creating traffic bottlenecks along the way.

To mitigate the impact of the protest on traffic flow, authorities in Delhi, Noida, and Haryana have issued detailed traffic advisories. These advisories outline alternative routes and suggest utilizing metro services to minimize inconvenience. Intensive security measures, including checkpoints and route diversions, are planned at border areas to ensure the safety of commuters and manage the flow of traffic.

The Delhi Airport has also issued an advisory, alerting travelers to potential traffic diversions and delays due to the farmers' protest. Commercial vehicle operators are urged to plan their journeys accordingly and stay updated on traffic updates to minimize disruptions.

In light of these developments, both commuters and authorities are bracing themselves for a challenging day ahead, with the farmers' protest march expected to test the resilience of Delhi-NCR's transportation infrastructure.
