Bal's health crisis ensued after he suffered a heart attack, leading to his immediate admission to Gurugram's Medanta Hospital. Presently, the 62-year-old designer heavily relies on ventilator support as he fights this critical battle. Reports indicate that his condition took a severe turn, prompting the swift transfer to Medanta after initially being rushed to Moolchand Hospital.

Sources close to the situation revealed alarming details of Bal's health scare, citing that his heart condition had plunged critically. His pacemaker administered seven shocks as he fell unconscious, necessitating urgent medical intervention. Model Suraj Dhali, who accompanied him during this health emergency, facilitated his swift admission to the hospital.

This alarming development comes in the wake of Bal's prior health struggles. Notably, in 2010, he underwent emergency angioplasty during the peak of his career due to a heart attack. Additionally, reports have highlighted his ongoing battle with alcoholism, leading to a hospitalization last November aimed at alcohol detoxification.
