Five people were hospitalized after consuming dry ice served as a mouth freshener. They experienced discomfort and started vomiting shortly afterward. Upon examination, it was found that they had ingested dry ice, mistaking it for a mouth freshener. Dry ice, which is solid carbon dioxide, can be harmful if ingested.

Five people were hospitalized after being served dry ice as a mouth freshener at a café in Gurugram. According to reports, the victims first felt a burning sensation in their mouths and started vomiting soon after. Soon, they began to experience blood vomitings as well.

Five people started experiencing blood vomitings and a burning sensation in their mouths after consuming mouth fresheners at a café in Gurugram. Ankit Kumar was at the Laforestaa Café in Sector 90 of Gurugram with his wife and friends. A video recording made inside the restaurant shows his wife and five friends screaming and crying in pain and distress. One of the men vomits on the restaurant floor while a woman puts ice in his mouth and repeatedly says, "It's burning."

Mr. Kumar then says, "We don't know what they (the mouth freshener) have mixed. Everyone here is vomiting. There are marks of cuts on their tongues. Their mouths are burning. We don't know what kind of acid they have given." He then asks people in the café to call the police.Two of the individuals were in serious condition. The incident highlights the importance of proper handling and labeling of substances to prevent such accidents.

In his complaint to the police, Mr. Kumar said, "I showed the packet of the mouth freshener to a doctor who said it was dry ice. According to the doctor, it's an acid that can cause death."

According to reports, the victims first felt a burning sensation in their mouths and started vomiting soon after. Soon, they began to experience blood vomitings as well. Washing their mouths with water did not help.

All five people have been admitted to the hospital, and two of them are said to be in serious condition.
