In an alarming revelation, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has brought to light fraudulent practices surrounding the fund collection for the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. As the consecration ceremony approaches, VHP identified deceitful attempts by individuals misusing the name of the Ram Janmabhoomi Trust.

Cybercriminals are leveraging social media platforms, enticing unsuspecting individuals to contribute to the temple fund through circulated messages and counterfeit QR codes. They have fabricated a false social media page impersonating 'Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh,' featuring a spurious QR code to lure donations.

VHP's national spokesperson, Vinod Bansal, issued a stern warning via a post on X, cautioning the public against falling prey to these fraudulent schemes. Bansal highlighted the gravity of the situation, alerting people to impostors posing as representatives of Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. He urged immediate action from Home Minister Amit Shah, Delhi Police, Uttar Pradesh DGP, and UP Police to combat these fraudulent activities.

Additionally, the VHP emphasized that no authorization has been granted to any individual or committee to collect funds separately for the impending consecration ceremony on January 22. Milind Parande, VHP's general secretary, reiterated this, stressing the need for vigilance within society against such fraudulent practices.

The VHP's explicit statements serve as a cautionary alert to the public, urging them to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to these deceitful schemes aimed at exploiting the sanctity of the Ram Temple fund collection. Authorities are called upon to take swift action against these fraudulent individuals circulating fake solicitations in the name of the temple trust.
