Gadar 2 Song 'Main Nikla Gaddi Le Ke' Featuring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel Catches the Eye

Gadar 2

Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are set to reprise their unforgettable roles as Tara Singh and Sakeena in the highly-anticipated sequel, Gadar 2, following the success of the 2001 film, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Treating fans to a delightful surprise, the makers released the recreated version of the iconic song "Main Nikla Gaddi LeKe" on Thursday. The song proves that a timeless classic can be renewed while retaining its essence, capturing the hearts of audiences once again.

'Main Nikla Gaddi Le Ke'
The soul-stirring track "Main Nikla Gaddi LeKe" from Gadar 2 is brought to life by the melodious voices of Udit Narayan, Aditya Narayan, and Mithoon.

The song's visuals are set amidst a joyous celebration, where Tara Singh fulfills his son Jeete's cherished desire of owning a motorcycle. In a time where recreated versions often incorporate unnecessary rap elements, this rendition stands apart by staying true to its roots. Singer Udit Narayan effortlessly recreates the enchanting magic of the original track, ensuring a heartfelt connection with the audience.

In the gripping trailer of Gadar 2, we witness Tara Singh's daring journey as he ventures across the border to rescue his son, portrayed by Utkarsh Sharma, who finds himself trapped in Pakistan. Evoking a sense of nostalgia, the trailer beautifully recaptures the essence of the original Gadar. Set in Lahore in 1971, the sequel showcases powerful action sequences and reinforces Tara Singh's relentless wrath against those promoting hatred between India and Pakistan, highlighting the film's intense and emotional narrative.

Anil Sharma's highly-anticipated film, Gadar 2, is scheduled for release on August 11, marking a clash with Akshay Kumar's OMG 2. Interestingly, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha faced a similar situation in 2001 when it clashed with Aamir Khan's Lagaan. Both movies succeeded in captivating the audience with their powerful storytelling. While Lagaan garnered global recognition and critical acclaim, Gadar emerged as a blockbuster hit in India, solidifying its place in the hearts of the audience.
