On Thursday, general ticket sales will commence for three ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 matches featuring India in Chennai, Delhi, and Pune. These matches, part of the World Cup taking place from October 5 to the final on November 19, will have their tickets available for purchase at 20:00 IST on Thursday through the official ticketing website cricketworldcup.com.


The ticket release scheduled for tomorrow will include tickets for the following matches:


- On Sunday, October 8th, witness India facing off against Australia at Chennai’s MA Chidambaram Stadium.

- On Wednesday, October 11th, catch India in action against Afghanistan at Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium.

- Lastly, on Thursday, October 19th, be part of the excitement as India takes on Bangladesh at Pune’s MCA International Stadium.

As per the ICC’s press release, here’s the schedule for ticket sales:


- Tickets for India matches in Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Mumbai will be on sale starting September 1.

- For India’s matches in Bengaluru and Kolkata, tickets will be available from September 2.

- India matches in Ahmedabad will have tickets on sale starting September 3.

- And for the major matches such as the semi-finals and final, tickets will become available on September 15.

The Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Jay Shah, expressed his thoughts on the ticket sales for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. He stated, as quoted by ICC, that they were extending a warm invitation to cricket fans from all corners of their nation and worldwide. He mentioned that their venues were prepared to welcome fans to a tournament that would redefine the cricketing landscape. He also emphasized their world-class infrastructure and readiness to provide a unique World Cup experience. He encouraged everyone to prepare for a memorable journey and a front-row seat to some electrifying One Day action.


The ICC Chief Executive, Geoff Allardice, expressed his delight in announcing that tickets for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 would go on general sale today.
