Haryana CM Manohar Lal Launches Cyclothon in Sirsa as Part of 25-Day Anti-Drug Campaign

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal on Sunday inaugurated a Cyclothon in Sirsa as an initiative in the state government's ongoing efforts to combat drug abuse.
Under the banner of 'Cyclothon for a Drug-Free Haryana,' this campaign conveys a message about the aim to create a drug-free environment in the state.
The Cyclothon, as part of the state's anti-drug campaign, was officially launched by Haryana's Chief Minister in Karnal on September 1st.
It is set to wrap up its course and reach its final destination at Yamunanagar on September 25th.
While talking about the campaign, Chief Minister Khattar stated, “The youth will have to be taken forward in a positive direction.”
The Cyclothon will cover all 22 districts of Haryana over a span of 25 days, highlighting efforts to combat drug abuse.
In addition to flagging off the Cyclothon and supporting the anti-drug campaign, he also took a moment to extend his warm greetings and best wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his 73rd birthday.
He expressed his wishes, adding, “The Haryana government is continuously working with the central government to create the India of PM Modi's dreams.”
The Haryana Chief Minister also pointed out his government's commitment to building a drug-free society in the state through collaborative efforts with NGOs and other organisations.
Furthermore, he also announced the introduction of 'car-free Tuesdays' in Karnal, where government officials are encouraged to use bicycles.
