Terrorist organizations in Pakistan are still receiving active support from the Pakistan Army, and there is evidence of direct involvement by a Colonel Sultan, a pseudonym for an official from the ISI, the military-intelligence wing of the Army. Colonel Sultan has been reported to hold weekly meetings with various tanzeems (outfits).

Terrorist organizations in Pakistan are still receiving active support from the Pakistan Army,

According to intelligence sources, there is a planned agenda for a series of attacks in Jammu and Kashmir, including grenade attacks on specific targets, targeted killings post-Eid, and attacks in Srinagar around the time of the G-20 meeting. The targets of these attacks are mainly security forces, political workers, and non-local workers who have recently come to Jammu and Kashmir for employment. Terrorists are expected to use grenade attacks as they provide a logistical advantage, making it easier for them to escape after the explosions.

These attacks are intended to destabilize the peace in the region, causing fear and panic among civilians. The use of such tactics by extremist groups is a cause for concern and requires immediate attention from the authorities. The recent blast on Boulevard Road in Srinagar is a clear indication that terrorists are actively seeking ways to disrupt the peace and stability in the region.

Aside from grenade attacks, there is a possibility of terrorists using Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) as well, according to sources. An IED explosion that occurred on Boulevard Road in Srinagar on April 2nd was suspected to be the work of terrorists. There is a chance that similar attacks using IEDs could take place during the G-20 meeting, making it a major security concern.

Recent reports indicate that Colonel Sultan of the ISI has been conducting regular meetings with terrorists in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. The recent meetings are not the first of their kind, as similar meetings were held in January and February of this year. This close coordination between terrorist organizations and the ISI is a matter of concern and highlights the need for increased security measures in Jammu and Kashmir.

It is crucial for the security forces to remain vigilant and take the necessary steps to prevent such attacks from happening. Intelligence agencies must work together to gather more information about the possible locations and timing of such attacks, and take appropriate action to safeguard civilians. The use of IEDs and grenades is a clear indication that terrorist organizations are seeking to destabilize the peace in the region, and such acts of violence must be dealt with sternly to maintain peace and stability in the region.
