Rahul
Gandhi, addressing a gathering during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Jharkhand,
accused the BJP of attempting to destabilize the elected government. The INDIA
bloc, he claimed, stood against the BJP's
"conspiracy" and prevented the "theft of the popular
mandate." Chief Minister Champai Soren welcomed Gandhi on this occasion,
emphasizing their commitment to justice.
Gandhi,
dismissing BJP's "money power and probe agencies," vowed to combat
their "divisive ideology." The yatra, initially against RSS and BJP's
divisive agenda, now advocates justice for the nation's people. Alleging the
BJP's recurrent attempts to destabilize elected governments, Gandhi emphasized
the INDIA bloc's resilience against such endeavors.
According to Gandhi, injustice prevails nationwide with soaring prices and rising unemployment. He attributed youth unemployment to Modi's policies, citing demonetization and a flawed GST that led to the downfall of small and medium industries, crucial for employment. He claimed the country is witnessing its highest unemployment rate in four decades.
Inviting
Jharkhand's people to participate in the Nyay Yatra, Gandhi assured to address
their concerns, advocating for economic and social justice, especially for
farmers, youth, and marginalized communities. Chief Minister Champai Soren,
expressing full support for the Nyay Yatra, pledged to address the people's
needs.
The Yatra's significance increased with JMM executive
president Hemant Soren's arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in a money-laundering
case linked to alleged land fraud. The Yatra, spanning eight days in two
phases, will cover 13 districts, emphasizing the pursuit of justice for all.
