Their latest triumph came in the Super Six stage against New Zealand at Bloemfontein's Mangaung Oval. Saharan's squad is now eagerly awaiting their semifinal opponents, having showcased remarkable performances throughout the competition.

In the group-stage clash against Bangladesh, India faced an early setback but recovered admirably with half-centuries from Adarsh Singh and Saharan, posting a challenging total of 251. Saumy Pandey's remarkable bowling figures of 4/24 ensured a convincing 84-run victory, with Adarsh claiming the Player of the Match award.

The encounter with Ireland saw Musheer Khan's splendid century guiding India to a formidable 301/7.
