In a significant move for Indian sports leadership, Raghuram Iyer steps into the role of CEO at the Indian Olympic Association (IOA). The appointment, resulting from a thorough selection process conducted by the nomination committee, solidifies Iyer's position as a key figure in the realm of sports management and administration.

IOA's statement confirms the meticulous selection process that led to unanimously selecting Raghuram Iyer. His extensive experience and proven track record in sports management and administration emerged as pivotal factors in his appointment. Before his appointment, Iyer's professional journey included influential roles with various prestigious sporting entities. Notably, his tenure as the former CEO of Rajasthan Royals showcased his adeptness in steering sports organizations. Additionally, Iyer contributed significantly to IPL sides such as Lucknow Super Giants and Rising Supergiants, expanding his influence across diverse sporting platforms.

His tenure with ATK Mohun Bagan in the Indian Super League and his involvement with RPSG Mavericks, a prominent table tennis team, further solidified his footprint in sports management.
