Instagram's latest update brings a revolutionary addition to its platform, introducing 2-second video notes through the Emu toolset. These succinct video snippets, distinct from the Stories feature, are exclusively shot via the app's front camera. Unlike Stories, users can't upload them from their device storage, keeping the content exclusive to the app.

To utilize this feature, users need to navigate to their inbox within the Instagram app. Accessing the Notes tray, they can tap the camera icon on their photo to record a quick 2-second video using the front-facing camera. Text can be added for context before posting, engaging close friends and mutual followers for a 24-hour period.

What sets this feature apart is its interactive replies functionality, expanding engagement beyond text responses. Users can now reply with audio, photos, videos, or stickers. Emojis or photos, when used as replies, get sent directly to the recipient's inbox, enriching interaction and communication.
