NTR and Kalyan Ram paid tribute to their legendary grandfather, NT Rama
Rao, at Hyderabad's iconic NTR Gardens. Dressed in somber black attire, the
stars reverently laid flowers at the memorial, reflecting on the indelible
legacy of the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
Surrounded
by an enthusiastic crowd, viral videos and pictures captured the emotional
moment as the actors, with folded hands, honored their grandfather's memory.
Security personnel managed the surging fans, who gathered at the memorial to
catch a glimpse of their beloved stars.
Notably,
various Telugu film industry luminaries also joined in commemorating the late
actor-politician on his death anniversary, further underlining the enduring
impact of NTR on the South Indian cinema landscape.
Nandamuri
Taraka Rama Rao, widely known as NTR, left an indelible mark on the Telugu film
industry, earning acclaim for his portrayals of Hindu deities in over 300
films. A three-time National Film Award winner, NTR also served as the Chief
Minister of Andhra Pradesh for three terms. The Government of India recognized
his cinematic contributions with the prestigious Padma Shri in 1968.

into politics in the early 1980s, NTR founded the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and
