In a powerful teaser released on Gandhi Jayanti, Kangana Ranaut, in full Air Force attire, is set to embody the role of an Indian Air Force pilot in her upcoming film "Tejas." The clip, unveiled on X, showcases her poised to take flight from an Air Force station, exuding an aura of strength and determination.

In a powerful teaser released on Gandhi Jayanti, Kangana Ranaut, in full Air Force attire, is set to embody the role of an Indian Air Force pilot in her upcoming film "Tejas." The clip, unveiled on X, showcases her poised to take flight from an Air Force station, exuding an aura of strength and determination.

The makers, RSVP Movies, accompanied the teaser with a tweet emphasizing Kangana's character's unwavering commitment to the nation: "She is ready to take off for the love of her nation kyunki agar Bharat ko hedge toh chhodenge nahi (If you touch India, she will not leave you)." The trailer is slated for release on Indian Air Force Day, October 8, with the film itself hitting cinemas on October 27, 2023.

Kangana Ranaut, speaking about the project, expressed her deep respect for the often unnoticed sacrifices made by courageous women in uniform. In a 2020 interview with Mumbai Mirror, she shared her hope that "Tejas" would instill a sense of patriotism and pride in today's youth, emphasizing the theme of prioritizing the nation over personal interests.

Originally scheduled for release in December 2020, "Tejas" witnessed several postponements. Kangana, in a statement back in August 2020, conveyed her honor in portraying an Air Force pilot and praised the sacrifices made by these dedicated individuals in the line of duty. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film features Tiger Shroff, Kriti Sanon, and Amitabh Bachchan in prominent roles and is now set to grace the screens on October 27. 2023.
