In an unsuspected attack on the minority group in the Kashmir valley, a Kashmiri Pandit who purportedly served as an ATM security guard was allegedly shot dead by suspected terrorists in J&K's Pulwama region on February 26. Sanjay Sharma, a local citizen of Achan in Pulwama who worked as a security guard was gun fired while he was travelling towards the neighbourhood market. The terrifying incident occurred merely one day after Asif Ganai, the son of a dead police head constable was allegedly shot by militants outside a mosque in Anantnag's Bijbehara neighbourhood on Friday.Rayees Mohammad Bhat, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police for Pulwama, stated that the police are moving quickly to investigate the killings of the members of the minority group and vowed to bring them justice.“We will find the involved terrorists quickly and punish them. A thorough inquiry is being conducted into the incident of a Kashmiri pandit shot dead in Pulwama region and we will disrupt the terrorists' evil plans.
