The two leaders expressed shared concerns regarding the alarming levels of terrorism, violence, and civilian casualties that have unfolded in the region.

In an official statement, Prime Minister Modi conveyed the urgency of the situation, highlighting the need for a swift restoration of peace and stability in West Asia. Both leaders were in agreement that facilitating humanitarian assistance is of utmost importance to alleviate the suffering of the affected population.

The Egyptian Presidency issued a statement acknowledging that President El-Sisi and Prime Minister Modi deliberated on the ongoing Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip. They recognized the severity of the situation and its far-reaching impact on civilians' lives and regional security.
