Man Loses His Life After Consuming Goat’s Eye in Chhattisgarh

In the heartland of Chhattisgarh, a 50-year-old man tragically met his death while he was relishing a goat that he had sacrificed because his deepest wishes had come true. 

Bagar Sai, a resident of Surajpur district, Chhattisgarh, decided to perform a sacrificial offering of a goat at a local temple when his wishes were finally fulfilled. Eager to express his gratitude, he gathered along with other residents of Madanpur village at Khopa Dham on Sunday to sacrifice the goat.

Following the completion of the sacrificial rituals, the villagers proceeded to cook the meat of the goat. Bagar, who was full of enthusiasm, also joined his fellow villagers in the communal gathering to savour the flavours of the cooked goat meat. Amidst the excitement, for unknown reasons, the man reached for one of the goat's eyes and, without hesitation, consumed it.
