The world's most potent magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner has now reported that it has successfully performed its first scans of human brains. This accomplishment represents a new degree of accuracy that should provide additional insight into the illnesses that afflict our complex minds.
The first people to use the apparatus to scan a picture of a pumpkin were researchers for the French Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) in the year 2021. However, they were only recently granted authorization by health regulators to scan people. Over the past few months, over twenty healthy volunteers have become the first to go through the magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine's mouth. The machine is located in the south of Paris, in the Plateau de Saclay district, which is home to many institutions and information technology companies.
Physicist Alexandre Vignaud, who is working on the research, claims that CEA has reached a level of precision never before observed. The magnetic field produced by the scanner is an astounding 11.7 teslas, a measurement named for the phenomenon's inventor, Nikola Tesla.

With 10 times the precision of hospital-based magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) devices—which usually have a power of little more than three teslas—the machine's strength allows it to scan images. Vignaud made a comparison between the images on a computer screen and the ones taken by this potent scanner, which he named Iseult.
