National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval held a high-level meeting with Oman's top leadership, led by Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, on Monday. The discussions centered around strengthening security ties and exploring avenues for collaboration in technology, military affairs, and mining sectors.



Following his participation in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's state visit to Egypt, National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval embarked on a trip to Oman, which has been extended an invitation as a guest country to be part of India's G20 process this year. During his visit, Doval presented a written message from the prime minister to Oman's ruler, which encompassed a wide range of cooperation areas. The Oman News Agency reported that the message delved into various aspects of collaboration between the two nations.

At Al Baraka Palace, NSA Ajit Doval engaged in a productive meeting with Sultan Haitham, wherein they conducted a comprehensive review of bilateral relations and actively explored avenues for enhancing cooperation across various domains. Additionally, both leaders exchanged perspectives on matters of mutual concern.



During the meeting, Doval conveyed warm greetings from the prime minister and extended sincere wishes for Oman's continuous progress and prosperity. In response, Sultan Haitham graciously reciprocated the greetings and expressed his appreciation for the well-wishes.



In a distinct bilateral meeting, NSA Ajit Doval engaged in discussions with Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, focusing on the strategic relations between the two nations. The talks centered around various facets of cooperation in promising sectors such as technology, military affairs, and mining, as reported by the Oman News Agency.

Furthermore, the conversation encompassed the commercial, investment, and cultural aspects of the bilateral relationship. Both officials also deliberated on regional and international matters, underscoring the shared commitment of the leadership from both countries to pursue policies that promote constructive dialogue and international cooperation.



In a gracious gesture, Sayyid Badr extended his congratulations to India for its successful hosting of the G20 meetings. The accomplishment was acknowledged during the meetings between NSA Ajit Doval and the esteemed foreign minister.
