PM Modi exudes confidence of BJP winning 400 Lok Sabha seats, slams Opposition over inflation, unemployment in exclusive interview.
The BJP led NDA alliance will form the next government as
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reiterated that he is confident of reaching an
impressive 400 seats in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections. PM Modi stated that
the "400 paar" slogan has already become a reality thanks to the
people's determination to choose a strong government.
Today, when the fourth phase of polling started in 96 constituencies
of 10 states, the Prime Minister commended the role of women, youth and first
time voters who have been participating very actively in the voting. "I
can now clearly visualize that '400' is no longer a mere catchphrase,' and that
this enthusiasm is helping us to shape the destiny of this country," he
stated thanking the people for their efforts despite the weather being hot.
The PM Modi reacted to the opposition's doubt that the NDA
would achieve 400 seats target, and he took the jokes at the Congress
leadership. He explicitly quoted the case of Sonia Gandhi's membership of the
Rajya Sabha and Rahul Gandhi's hesitance to face Amethi's electoral battle; he
questioned the courage of both the Gandhi members to compete actively in the
elections.

Candidates who have no courage to fight in Amethi will not be able to fulfill
their obligations. The Prime Minister said the following: "Whatever I have
said until now has become true. "
The Prime Minister slammed the Opposition by their criticism
on the issues like unemployment and inflation.
He argued that the highest inflation was during the tenure of the former
Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He not only compared the inflation rates of the
previous regimes with North Korea, but he also delivered the speech from the
Red Fort.

Lok Sabha elections, the PM's assertions suggest the BJP's will for winning a
staggering second term in a row.
