Prime Minister Narendra Modi is poised to inaugurate a plethora of development projects in Maharashtra's Yavatmal district, marking a significant stride towards regional progress and prosperity. Scheduled for Wednesday, the event is anticipated to be a watershed moment as it unveils a comprehensive roadmap for socio-economic development in the region.

With the program set to commence at 4:30 pm in Bhari, on the outskirts of Yavatmal city, district officials are gearing up to welcome PM Modi, underscoring the importance of the occasion. Among the key highlights of the event, PM Modi is slated to release benefits under the PM KISAN scheme, aimed at bolstering the agricultural sector and supporting farmers across Maharashtra. Additionally, he will inaugurate the statue of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, symbolizing the government's ideological commitment to the welfare of the people.

Moreover, the prime minister will disburse installments under PM-KISAN and 'Namo Shetkari MahaSanman Nidhi,' further fortifying the support extended to farmers, who form the backbone of the state's economy. The event isn't just about agricultural empowerment; it extends its focus to women's empowerment and healthcare accessibility. PM Modi is set to distribute the Revolving Fund to women's self-help groups (SHGs), fostering entrepreneurship and financial independence among women. Simultaneously, the distribution of one crore Ayushman cards aims to ensure universal healthcare coverage, a critical aspect of inclusive development.

Housing for marginalized communities is also high on the agenda, with PM Modi scheduled to launch the Modi Awaas Gharkul Yojana, a housing scheme targeting OBC beneficiaries. This initiative aims to address housing challenges faced by marginalized communities, fostering social equity and inclusivity. Additionally, the dedication of irrigation projects worth over Rs 2,750 crore underscores the government's commitment to bolstering agricultural infrastructure, particularly in the Marathwada and Vidarbha regions.
