Switching gears to infrastructural developments, the Shri Ram International Airport and a model railway station, mirroring the temple's architecture, are poised for inauguration in December. Ayodhya MLA Ved Prakash Gupta anticipates that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will preside over the inauguration on December 30. The Ayodhya airport, developed at a cost of approximately Rs 350 crore by the Airports Authority of India (AAI), has received regulatory approval and boasts a 2,200m runway equipped for night flights and low-visibility conditions.
