In his US address, Rahul Gandhi stated that fear of the BJP and Prime Minister Modi diminished after the Lok Sabha election results. He emphasized that this was a victory for democracy and the people of India, criticizing the BJP for attacking the Constitution and India's diversity.
During his address to the Indian diaspora in Dallas, Texas, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi remarked that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Prime Minister Narendra Modi have lost their hold of fear over the Indian populace following the Lok Sabha election results. Speaking about the shift in public sentiment, Gandhi claimed that the immediate reaction to the results saw Indians shedding their fear of the BJP and Modi.
He emphasized that this change wasn't a victory for him or the Congress Party but for the Indian people who reconnected with the principles of democracy. Gandhi referred to "Abhayamudra," a symbol of fearlessness in Indian religious traditions, as a concept that BJP leaders failed to grasp during the election.
Gandhi also criticized the BJP’s ideological parent, the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), stating that while the RSS sees India as a singular entity, his party celebrates India's diversity and multiplicity of ideas. He underlined that the Congress vision supports participation and inclusivity across all societal lines—caste, language, religion, and history.

The Congress leader argued that the election results were a moment of awakening for millions of Indians who saw the Prime Minister attacking the Constitution, which Gandhi called the bedrock of modern India. He further claimed that the BJP’s actions were not only assaults on the Constitution but also on India’s diverse traditions and religious beliefs.
