As the Ram Mandir inauguration nears, confectioners from Varanasi and Gujarat prepare 45 tonnes of ghee laddus for the historic Pran Pratishtha ceremony on January 22. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and global celebrities are expected to attend. Congress leaders decline the invitation, terming it an "RSS/BJP event." Vedic rituals commence on January 16.

Amidst
the anticipatory fervor for the impending inauguration
of the Ram Mandir, skilled confectioners hailing from Varanasi and Gujarat
have embarked on a significant undertaking in Ayodhya. With unwavering
dedication, they are meticulously crafting 45 tonnes of laddus infused with
pure desi ghee, destined to be presented as 'prasad' during the momentous Pran
Pratishtha ceremony scheduled for January 22.
Initiating
this sugary endeavor on January 6, the confectioners maintain a relentless
pace, churning out approximately 1200 kg of delectable laddus daily. Their
collective goal is to produce the designated 45 tonnes before the grand
ceremony unfolds. The traditional sweet, a beloved delicacy in North India,
holds cultural significance and adds a sweet touch to the auspicious occasion.
As the confectioners diligently pursue their culinary mission, invitations for the grand event have been extended to various dignitaries and celebrities. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to grace the Pran Pratishtha ceremony, joining a host of esteemed personalities from across the country. Notably, the ceremony has garnered global attention, attracting invitations even from abroad.

However,
not all political figures are participating in the celebration. Key Congress
leaders, including national president Mallikarjun Kharge, former president
Sonia Gandhi, and Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury,
have declined the invitation, categorizing the event as an "RSS/BJP
event."
In
preparation for the main ceremony, Vedic rituals for the 'Pran-Pratishtha' of
Ram Lalla will commence on January 16, a week prior to the grand event. The responsibility
of conducting these sacred rituals falls upon Varanasi-based priest Lakshmi
Kant Dixit, who will oversee the proceedings on January 22.
The
festivities in Ayodhya extend beyond the ceremonial day, encompassing the Amrit
Mahotsav from January 14 to January 22. Additionally, a 1008 Hundi Mahayagya is
scheduled, where thousands of devotees will be provided with sustenance. To
accommodate the influx of devotees, tent cities are being erected in Ayodhya,
creating a vibrant atmosphere for the grand 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony in Uttar
Pradesh.
