Bollywood actor Salman Khan has received a fresh threat allegedly from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, demanding he apologize at a Bishnoi community temple for the black buck poaching incident or pay ₹5 crore. The message, which was sent to Mumbai Police’s Traffic Control by an individual claiming to be Bishnoi's brother, warned of consequences if Khan fails to comply.

The message stated, “If Salman Khan wants to stay alive, he should go to our (Bishnoi community) temple and apologize or pay ₹5 crore. If he does not, we will kill him.” This development comes after recent threats against the actor, prompting Mumbai Police to enhance security around Khan, particularly at his Bandra residence. The police are currently tracing the message origin and verifying any connections to Lawrence Bishnoi, a notorious gangster imprisoned on multiple criminal charges.

This incident is one of several threats Khan has received in recent months. Just last month, he was threatened and asked to pay ₹2 crore, leading to the arrest of a Bandra resident. In April, unidentified assailants on motorcycles had fired shots outside his residence, and subsequent investigations have revealed multiple attempts by the Bishnoi gang to target him.

Khan’s legal issues over the black buck poaching case, dating back to the late 1990s, have long been a contentious topic with the Bishnoi community, which reveres the black buck. Mumbai Police continue to investigate the source of these threats and reinforce Khan’s security amid concerns of escalating risks from organized criminal networks.
