In a devastating occurrence, a Saudi Royal Air Force F-15SA fighter jet met with a fatal accident, resulting in the loss of two crew members on board. The crash unfolded during a training mission at the King Abdulaziz Air Base situated in Dhahran, located within Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province, as confirmed by military spokesperson Brigadier General Turki al-Maliki.

Details regarding the cause of the crash remain undisclosed at this point, prompting an immediate initiation of an investigative committee to determine the circumstances leading to the tragic incident. The military expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased crew members, acknowledging the gravity of the loss suffered by the nation.

The F-15SA jet, a variant of the McDonnell Douglas fighter, constitutes a significant portion of Saudi Arabia's air fleet. This unfortunate event echoes a similar crash earlier this year near the King Khalid Air Base in Khamis Mushait, resulting in the loss of two pilots.

As the investigations continue, the incident stands as a solemn reminder of the risks associated with aviation training missions and the profound sacrifices made by military personnel in the line of duty.
