Siddaramaiah Takes Charge as Karnataka's Chief Minister, joined by Shivakumar as Deputy CM; 8 Legislators Pledge Ministerial Commitment

Siddaramaiah, a prominent Congress leader, has taken oath as the Chief Minister of Karnataka for a second term. Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot presided over the swearing-in ceremony of Siddaramiah, DK Shivakumar, and other ministers at the crowded Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru. Siddaramaiah was elected as the new CLP leader through a unanimous endorsement by all members present at the meeting.
