Being a leader deeply connected with the grassroots, Siddaramaiah has earned a reputation for his involvement in crafting state budgets over the years, displaying a keen attention to even the minutest of details.

During a Congress Legislative Party (CLP) meeting in Bengaluru, Congress leaders Priyank Kharge, G Parameshwara, and DK Suresh were present at the stadium. After careful consideration, the party leadership decided to choose former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah over state Congress chief DK Shivakumar for the position of Chief Minister, as they believed Siddaramaiah's extensive administrative experience would be valuable in implementing the party's manifesto promises, especially considering their financial implications. Siddaramaiah was elected as the new CLP leader through a unanimous endorsement by all members present at the meeting.

Siddaramaiah, a seasoned politician, has been chosen as the leader of the Congress Legislative Party in Karnataka through unanimous support. He has a track record of successfully navigating the state's intricate caste dynamics and challenging the trend of voting out incumbent governments.
