Former Bollywood actress Somy Ali, who was once in a relationship with Salman Khan, has opened up about her recent message to notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. In an exclusive interview, Somy shared that her intention behind inviting Bishnoi for a Zoom call was to encourage dialogue and peace, particularly in light of death threats against Khan. She emphasized that her goal was to promote understanding, not conflict, and recalled moments of safety concerns during her time in the industry.

Ali also spoke about her passion for empowering roles and projects in her new production company. Through Somy Ali Productions, she aims to tell stories that focus on strong characters, particularly women and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, she hopes to shine a light on issues like wrongful accusations, drawing from her experiences with her NGO, No More Tears.

Her work with the NGO has garnered significant attention, particularly in India, allowing her to extend support to survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking. Despite positive changes, Ali acknowledges that the entertainment industry still has a long way to go in terms of ensuring women's safety, both in India and the U.S., especially following the #MeToo movement.

Somy also continues to seek justice for missing actor Raj Kiran, lamenting the lack of support from Bollywood in her efforts.
