An erroneous
interpretation of the regulations authorizing the exchange of foreign players
for fielders halted Thursday's Indian Premier League 2024 match between the
Rajasthan Royals and the Delhi Capitals.

Starting the match for RR were Trent Boult, Jos Buttler, and Shimron Hetmyer, who were all foreign players. With Hetmyer sitting out, Nandre Burger will step up as their starting point guard.
