On the celebratory occasion of Monday, the actor basked in the triumph of his recent cinematic creation, Gadar 2, expressing profound humility in the face of the overwhelming love showered upon the team. Having graced the screens just last Friday, the sequel to the 2001 classic, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, directed by Anil Sharma and scripted by Shaktimaan Talwar, achieved a staggering feat, amassing a remarkable sum of Rs 134 crore in a mere weekend. The film maintains the continuity of its predecessor by featuring the return of beloved stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma in their iconic roles.

During the press event commemorating the film's triumphant achievement, Sunny candidly shared his thoughts on its success, commencing by expressing heartfelt gratitude to the audience. Amid the resounding applause, he remarked, "You have breathed life back into Tara Singh." The actor went on to confess his intense apprehension surrounding Gadar 2, given the towering status of its predecessor as an iconic film. He admitted to harboring fears of potentially "ruining" its legacy through a remake.
